Two days removed from winning my first award ever, I sit here with my foot elevated and wrapped tightly with an ace bandage.  Yesterday I stepped off of a stair wrong and twisted my ankle pretty bad, and it just so happened to be while I was thinking of my photography award and how happy it made me.  I don’t want to think that it was punishment for showing a small amount of pride in myself and my talent, I hope it was nothing more than a freak accident.  Whatever the reason, the throbbing pain in my ankle has taken some excitement from my win away so I will continue to go through life thinking that I may be cursed………………………….
