Happy Tuesday! In case you haven't noticed I took a little time off. Eleven days to be exact, counting weekends. I just finished celebrating my birthday week, I celebrate for a whole week because your birthday is the one thing that is all yours, the one day where all eyes are on you or they should be anyhow. I figure a person only gets a limited number of them and it was at about 35 that I decided I could spend a whole week celebrating my bday without feeling guilty or regret since I only have about 70-80 of them. Anyhow, I also used that week and a half to figure out a few things and plan a few nice surprises for the blog and my life in the coming year. I have not had an easy go of 2015 yet and besides three good days in my bday week this year has been fairly poor yet I shall keep my head above water, roll with the punches and do what I do best, survive, although this year I think I will add the word, thrive to that, and officially claim the motto, "Survive and Thrive" as my motto for this coming year. I have already touched off a heated debate about American Sniper and how movies like that only perpetuate violence and help spread the Us governments doctrine of illegal invasions and policing the world. Enough is enough, we should be trying to find ways to peacefully co-exist not continue to find ways to kill each other and then glorify those killings on the big screen. Any war or conflict the US has been in since 1950 has been for purely economic or religious gain, we aren't fighting wars to save freedom or humanity, we are fighting wars for the rich so they can get richer and movies like American Sniper only fuel that desire. I get so frustrated but at least I can breath easier knowing that I have shaken off all the indoctrination and brainwashing that the government and society has spent pummeling my brain with and I can only shake my head in despair as I watch the Sheeple line up and obey. If hating violence and war makes me Unamerican or unpatriotic than sorry, that's who I am and I will gladly move to Canada or some nice European country but it won't change what's happening here in the US or make a difference. Maybe in my old age I just get tired of seeing people die uselessly in conflicts they had nothing to do with for something as stupid as greed and power. Doesn't it bother anyone that the two countries we are fighting in right now were our enemies twenty years ago? Or that our own government has created and supplied the very terrorist groups we are "fighting" for freedom? This is all a vicious circle created to keep you the people afraid and in need of a strong military, when the truth is we would be 100% better off if our troops were all over her in America where they belong, not sniping people who are just pissed off about being invaded yet again....I'm back and I'm not going to be nice anymore. PS: if any of my readers can tell me in fifty words or less why American troops need to be in Iraq, Afghanistan or Africa maybe I'll change my mind but the sad thing is there is no good reasonable excuse for us to be over there. They were fighting and killing themselves for 10,000 years before we decided to "help" and they will be killing each other long after the oil and us are gone. Movies like American Sniper perpetuate the Military Industrial Complex and make it possible for the government to spend 20 billion dollars a month on war. Imagine how our school systems would be if we dumped 20 billion a month into education instead of death and killing? Can you? nope, then you are a part of the problem.............................PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
