Happy Tuesday! I chose another image from my perfect lighting day back in May of last year. I posted a similar picture a few days after I took these so it may look a little familiar. I call this picture the Lovers because those two trees have stood there together for a long time and hopefully they will be there a lot longer. They survived while all the other trees around were either chopped down to make the road or slowly sank into the marsh all around them. I noticed these two right away as I drove past them every day on my way to work but seeing them from the roadside didn't give them much justice. From this angle they aren't just two blurs passing by, they are much more than that. They are two living breathing plants that have not only survived but thrived in their conditions and as they loom over the rest of the landscape I can't help but smile, here in a world where we have to fight to keep our environment alive and clean, these two trees tower over everything together. If you look close enough it looks like they are holding hands (well branches). They are a symbol to how resilient Mother Nature is and it gives me a little hope that not all is quite lost, yet. I don't just see two trees when I see this image, I see two survivors who have endured so much together and continue to grow despite the odds being against them, I see that Nature does want to win this fight and I want to do all I can to help. Have a great day and I hope you all can embrace the beauty that surrounds us everyday in the natural world........................PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
