Happy Friday to all! I hope everyone's week went well and that a fun and exciting filled weekend is upon you all.  It was nice to get back into the swing of things here after taking that time off.  I still have to get out and get some fresh pictures but for the time being I don't mind recycling some of my favorite images in the meantime.  Back in May of last year I put some quotes from famous photographers on some of my pictures.  This is one of my favorite quotes on the subject by arguably the greatest Nature photographer of all time.  His words ring so true.  I chose this picture to put the quote on because of how mighty and commanding the pine tree looked in this image.  There truly is beauty around us everyday, everywhere we go and no matter how crappy the world is around me there will always be images like this to capture and share.  I can't stop the fact that I am very dedicated to certain things like preserving the environment and imagining a world without war and violence and I feel that the only way to truly change the way society and humanity have become are to embrace my ideals and continue to spread my message of peace and cooperation, even if it means losing friends or acquaintances.  Being bullied or pressured to agree with the mainstream ideology is exactly what I fight against.  Even if just 1 out of 10 people believe what I believe it is a start.  I won't quit showing people the beauty of the Natural world until our species destroys it all in the name of progress and greed and when the last tree falls my heart will break and I will have no reason to be on this planet anymore.  For those of you who have bought into the system, who believe that tearing our planet apart for oil, gold and other natural resources is all just part of being human I will cry an extra tear for you when the last tree falls.   While you stand on a barren, polluted rock cradling your precious money and slowly starving to death, I'll take one last picture.  An image of a starving, ragged human with a death grip on all his wealth staring out into the dark abyss of nothingness wondering how this could have happened..........................................PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
