Happy Tuesday! Now I can't seem to figure out how to get the picture back on top of the screen, oh well, I'll deal with the change for today if you guys can.  I was digging through some of my old books while unpacking, yes, we are still unpacking three weeks after the move.  Honestly, I'm in no hurry since we are going to be here for a while there really is no hurry, besides I have more important things to do right now, including fixing my technological issues.  Anyhow, I was digging through my books and came across the one book that really opened my eyes up to the corruption and greed of our government.  It is called Outrage, by Dick Morris & Eileen McGann.  It was written back in 2004 and the numbers are probably outdated but the information is still very eye opening.  It is about the amount of money that is spent on lobbying, advertisement and other aspects of our modern government.  The section I wanted to share with you today is some interesting numbers that Big Pharmaceutical companies spend, remember this data comes from 2004 so they are probably even much higher than the following now.  First I should explain that I am under the firm assumption that at least 80% of modern psychological diseases are made up or exacerbated purely for the amount of money the sale of the drugs used to combat them put into the bank accounts of the pharmaceutical companies that make them.  Yet I am not here to start a rant that will take days to finish, not today anyway, I'm just going to post these numbers from ten years ago and then let you make your own assumptions, but I also want you to keep in mind that modern psychology only came around about 100 years ago while modern humans have been around for at least 200,000 years ago, so we have been living with these "diseases and mental conditions" for 199,900 years before the Doctors and Medicine arrived to find them and conveniently find cures for them.  Alright enough ranting, here is the information I wanted to share: in 2005 drug companies spent 4.2 billion dollars on advertising, which accounted for 5.8% of all advertising dollars and they employed 90,000 sales reps to push drugs to physicians, fielding one salesperson per every 4.7 doctors. 

I will just add this for you to think about as well, physicians get paid kickbacks for the amount of drugs they prescribe to people every year...........PEACE!!!!!!!!
