Happy Tuesday and a Well met Veteran's Day to those who have served or who are currently serving.  As much as I might not agree with the way our government is run or where they are deploying our military assets, I respect and commend those who serve their country.  Without the brave men and women who risk their lives daily the powers that be could not wage their wars or police actions.  The system has been created to make the less fortunate serve in the military in order to either make a living or get enough money for a college tuition, while the rich sit on Capital Hill and reap the rewards.  It isn't a fair system at all and millions of young men and women have died furthering the agenda of the elite yet if we didn't do it willingly, they would make us do it through drafts and conscriptions.  That is neither here nor there, today, I don't want to spend all my thoughts and time on the negative aspect of war or serving.  Instead I want to say that I learned many, many life skills and made a lot of great friends while serving and while most 17-18 year olds were binge drinking and worried about what kind of shoes to buy my friends and I were learning what it took to be a responsible individual.  Although I wouldn't wish military service upon my worst enemy right now I still gladly salute anyone who is wearing a uniform because it means that they have taken an oath to defend not just there country but the men and women who live in it.  Hopefully some day future generations will look back on this day and call it War Remembrance Day, a dark period in human history when they took violence upon each other as a constant daily conflict.  That future generation will wonder how it was possible that human beings ever killed one another for silly notions like, oil, territory, or religion.  My dream is that someday my children's grandchildren will be so confused by what war was that we will need a day just to remind them how dark and disturbing we humans can be toward each other.  When Veteran's day becomes War Remembrance Day, is the day I will know that we the people can really change.  Until then, again I say thank you to all that served or are serving, whether you were a grease monkey on a naval transport or wide eyed kid armed with a machine gun walking circles around an airplane your service mattered and you deserve a day to be thanked.........................................PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
