This is one of the very first pictures I took with the
Nikon. This was at a cabin near Hayward
where my sister-in-law got married. I
was originally going for the sunset against the lake but when I got home and
downloaded these I spotted the eagle in the image as well. I didn’t change the color or the tinting at
all the sun and the shadows created the shading and the yellow hue. I had forgotten all about this picture until
I began downloading all of my pictures onto my new computer, and although I don’t
consider one of my best I do like the imagery it evokes. The eagle flying above as the boats gently
float on the water which is reflecting the slowly descending sun I picture this image in my head sometimes
when I am meditating because it was a perfect moment in nature. One of the rare times I was able to freeze an
image that can invoke peace and serenity in my otherwise preoccupied mind. I also have an affinity to this picture
because it was one of the first pictures I took after I had decided that I
wanted to pursue this hobby and like I said before just because it isn’t one of
my best artistically speaking it is a great reminder of how beautiful nature
can be and being able to capture it was just an added bonus. Respect the world and people around you and
always have a peaceful place to go when you feel lost, alone, afraid or
completely confused. Finding peace in
myself is what I have been striving to do for a few years now and although I am
a long way from being the man I want to be I can always find this picture to
take me to a happier more peaceful place even if it is only for a few
minutes. After the franticly frustrating
last couple of weeks I was more than happy to have stumbled upon this picture
again because it has definitely done its job for me again. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend and as
always……………..PEACE!!!!!!!!
Best picture i've seen you take...probably photo-shopped though, no really it would be hard to top this one in my opinion.
