This is another of my early spring photos of yet some more unnamed flowers.  I like the colors of these particular specimens.  I got this one right before it started to wilt and die as the others around it already started doing.  As I have stated in prior posts I often give inanimate objects or natural organisms stories and backgrounds and this flower was no different.  I imagined it sprouting out of the ground and being so proud of it's beauty that it hadn't noticed it's surrondings or the fact that everything else around it had already begun to die. Its happiness about being alive became a fleeting thought as it began to understand that it too would soon begin to wilt and then cease to exist entirely.  It began to question its whole existence and was so caught up in its impending demise that it wasted most of its life worrying about something beyond its own control.  It didn't see the beauty it had brought into the world and it had no conceptual grasp on the nutrients its wilted and dead body would bring to the soil, it didn't realize that the bees had already spread its pollen and ensured that future generations of his kind could flourish.  It spent so much time fixated on the inevitable that it took no time to just sit back and relish being alive in the first place.  Poor flower.  The one thing this particular flowers story does give me is a new sense of direction.  I need to stop thinking about things that are beyond my control and start looking at the world around me, and enjoy it.  This is a lesson a lot of humans should take to heart, it would sure make things more enjoyable for everyone.  So next time something is troubling you sit down and figure out if it's really worth losing precious time over or if you are wasting time and energy over it.  Only one thing is completely certain in life and that is death, everything else is just part of your own personalized experience and it is dictated by the way  you and only you deciede to do it .  So why not just be like this beautiful flower in the picture and relish your life and beauty and don't pay any attention to the negativity that surronds you, it will make your journey that much more enjoyable.  Peace!
